Oliver Refson has an MFA in screenwriting and directing from Columbia University and worked for several years in the New York independent film/TV scene on various productions, including The Squid and the Whale, Be Kind Rewind, The Savages and Sex and the City. He’s directed two award-winning 35mm short films, Wrigley and The Hardest Part, which premiered at New York Film Festival and went on to win Grand Jury Prize at Montreal Just for Laughs. He is the creator, director and co-writer of the award-winning BBC Three/Baby Cow comedy-drama series UNCLE.
