Chris worked as a development producer for successful NI based company Sixteen South and as a writer on a number of television projects before moving on to set up Six Mile Hill Productions with producing partner Brendan Mullin.
From there Chris went on to produce a number of award winning short films and his debut feature, BAD DAY FOR THE CUT, premiered to great reviews at Sundance Film Festival and was sold by XYZ in North America. It is now available on Netflix and holds a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
He directed an episode of VERA for ITV in 2017 and then quickly went on to shoot a block of TIN STAR for Kudos/ Sky and Amazon in 2018. Chris and writing partner Brendan Mullin also sold a feature pitch to Legendary Pictures in the US at the end of the year.
Chris latest feature, THE BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL, was produced by Blinder Films and Automatik, backed by Endeavour Content and premiered at Tribeca.
He has been lead director and EP across season one of WRECK for the BBC and is now delivering season 2.
