Alice Troughton is an internationally renowned director working between the UK and the US. Having lead-directed and exec-produced the award-winning shows The Midwich Cuckoos (2022) for Sky and Baghdad Central (2020) for C4, she is also known for her work on The Living and The Dead, Cucumber, and Dr Who.
In June this year she premiered her first feature film The Lesson at Tribeca Film Festival to widespread acclaim, with The Hollywood Reporter stating “Alice Troughton’s first feature is a jewel” and calling the film “an exquisite sun-drenched noir”.
