Mariam’s writing work includes IN THE WATER an original hour length six part mystery drama series set in the Scottish Highlands, in development with the BBC Writers room and LA Productions.
Mariam was selected for this years BBC TV Drama Writers Programme.
Mariam trained at RADA. Her work as an actor includes; King John (RSC), 1984 (Headlong),Miss Julie and Trojan Women (NamelessTheatre).
Mariam is currently developing several writing projects for TV and theatre.
Her work is evocative and immersive big story worlds, expansive and detailed ensemble storytelling exploring provocative ideas and untold stories.
