Nic Bruckman

Writer

Nic trained as an actor at Drama Centre London, was an assistant director at the Royal Court Theatre, De Utrechtse Spelen, Actors Touring Company and at Staatstheater Stuttgart and was a member of the Royal Court Writers Group in 2014. Directing credits include his own translation of Miss Julie at the Arcola Theatre and a new play for young people by Vivienne Franzmann which was performed over 300 times. His first original play Pufferfish was selected as one of the best productions of 2017/2018 by the National Dutch Theatre Festival, and the Dutch Literary Fund and Performing Art Fund awarded him a bursary to complete a new play in 2018.
