Benjamin Green is an Emmy Award-winning director, writer and Executive Producer. Over his 20 year television career, he has also been nominated for BAFTA, RTS, NTA and British Comedy Awards.
He has created, written and directed two series of BBC1 comedy drama Avoidance, which he co-created with long-time collaborator Romesh Ranganathan. As well as Romantic Getaway for Sky Comedy and Asian Provocateur for BBC.
In the US, he has directed and produced Apple TV’s hugely successful Carpool Karaoke for Apple and created and directed Showtime’s Just Another Immigrant as well as two Netflix comedy specials for Ranganathan, Romesh At The Greek and The Cynic. His early career was spent working on the critically acclaimed Idiot Abroad series, which led to him directing and Showrunning Moaning of Life for SKY. He has also directed a host of comedy commercials for clients including Facebook, Google and British Airways.
