Christoph Schrewe is an award winning German director and producer living in the USA. After becoming one of Germany’s most prolific directors Christoph was urged by iconic tv creator Tom Fontana (OZ, HOMICIDE) to relocate to the US after having collaborated successfully on three seasons of the international co-production BORGIA. 
Christoph quickly made his mark by directing shows such as MR.ROBOT, FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, CRIMINAL MINDS, SHOOTER, BRITANNIA, amongst others. He recently finished working as a supervising director and producer on Paramount’s BERLIN STATION and has gone on to perform the same role on SNOWPIERCER for TNT. 
Christoph began his career at the tender age of 22 when he wrote, produced and directed two movies in the same year. As a complete unknown he managed to convince the likes of cult director Derek Jarman and actor Helmut Berger to work with him on his movies –  both men being impressed by the can-do-and-never-give-up attitude that has become Christoph’s hallmark. Both movies were selected for one of the world’s most renowned film festivals, the BERLINALE FILM FESTIVAL.
Asked about his wide variety of work he answers: ”For me it is all about the human experience. History and modern times, just as comedy and drama, are linked by us, by humans, our feelings, fears and joys. Finding that human core in a story and making it accessible to the audience is what I strive for.”
He is also father to 4 children and resides with his his wife and family in California.
