Sarah was one of the Old Vic 12 in 2017/2018 and is the recipient of an Exceptional Promise in Playwriting visa. In 2019, her play Armadillo ( ★★★★ Guardian, The Evening Standard, WhatsOnStage) was produced by The Yard Theatre and had its run extended due to audience demand.

Originally from Butler, Pennsylvania, Sarah moved to London to pursue writing. Her first play Hot Dog was produced at the Last Refuge in 2013 and received its American Premiere with Thinking Cap Theatre in Florida in 2014. In 2016, she was the Inaugural Writer in Residence at The Archivist’s Gallery, where her play Mumburger premiered and then later transferred to The Old Red Lion in 2017. In March 2019, Mumburger received its American Premiere at Carnegie Stage with off the WALL productions in Pennsylvania. Sarah holds an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She also has a BA in Theatre and a BA in Film from Penn State University.
