Sri Lankan / Malaysian blood. Born on the rock in Gibraltar. Grew up by the English seaside. He is a Writer and Creative who started his career as an artist and showed work at institutions including Tate, Barbican, Serpentine Gallery & Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
He’s best known for his work writing ‘Ain’t it Funny Being Coloured?’ which aired on Channel 4 and earned him a 2012 Broadcast Award for Young Comedy Writer. It was also shortlisted for 2012 Guardian Top TV Show of the Year.
His previous projects have won him several British Arrows and Cannes Lions medals.
