Ian Kershaw is an award-winning writer for stage, screen and radio.

Ian grew up in Oldham, Lancashire, working as a joiner on building sites until, after training as an actor, started writing via a playwriting slam led by BBC North & Contact Theatre.

He is currently a regular writer on Coronation Street as well as developing his own original drama for tv and theatre
