Nadifa made her debut in 2010 with her semi-biographical novel BLACK MAMBA BOY, looking at her father’s life in colonial Yemen in the 1930s and 40s. She followed that up in 2013 with her critically acclaimed novel THE ORCHARD OF LOST SOULS, and has most recently been shortlisted for the Booker Prize for her 2021 novel THE FORTUNE MEN. Over the past couple of years she has made the move into screenwriting.
