Zahra Al-Sultani is an emerging writer-director, based in London. She has recently been selected as the new Writer in Residence for Sister Pictures. She enjoys world-building and genre bending, particularly when combined with characters that reflect the multicultural area she hails from. She is also currently part of a writers room for a new Playstation game and is a Development Producer at the BBC Writersroom. She has previously produced content for brands such as MTV, Sky and NBC Universal, within the digital space. She was selected for the inaugural Mfest Writers Lab 21/22, in partnership with Soho Theatre; as well as the School of Hightide 2021.
