Lily’s writing work includes ‘Zoo’ (Assembly, Theatre 503), ‘Talking to Strangers’ & ‘Dances with Dogs’ (co-written with Sally Phillips, Leicester Square Theatre/Orange Tree/Soho Theatre & BBC Radio 4 series), for play ‘Pheasant Plucker’ (Underbelly/Bush Theatre, published by Samuel French), The Guide’ (Screenplay, co-written with Emma Thompson), ‘Mock Tudor’ (Pleasance/Theatre 503 developed by Kudos) ‘Café Red’ (Trafalgar Studios developed by Leftbank), ‘Stephen & The Sexy Partridge’ (co-written with Finnian O’Neill, Trafalgar Studios), ‘Who Am I’ (Theatre 503), Dungeness’ a pilot for Kudos, ‘The People of the Town’ ‘Bunker’ (RADA), ‘Avocado’ (co-written with Bekah Brunstetter, Kings Head/Playwrights Horizons NYC), ‘A Stab In The Dark’ (Kings Head), ‘In Seine’ (Winner – Monmartre Dionysia, Paris) and she was in the writers room for comedy series ‘I Live With Models’ (Feb 2015) for Roughcut/Comedy Central. Her satirical play TRUMPS WOMEN began as WHO AM I? as part of the Top Trumps festival at Theatre 503 and was developed by RADA for additional performances in the Vanbrugh Theatre and at the Zedel Brasserie, Piccadilly.

Lily trained as an actress at RADA. She often performs her own work. Other acting credits include ‘A Voyage Round My Father’ (Donmar Warehouse/Wyndham’s Theatre), ‘Kindertransport’ (Shared Experience) and ‘Dr Who’ (BBC). Lily also attended Ecole Phillipe Gaulier, The Royal Court Young Writers Programme and The Bush Emerging Writers Group. Lily was shortlisted for the Funny Women Awards and was nominated for an Offie Award for Best Director for a play by Bekah Brunstetter at the Finborough Theatre.

Lily also narrates audio books including ‘My Husband’s Wife’ by Jane Corrie for Penguin, ‘How to be a grown up’ by Daisy Buchanan and ‘Skin Deep’ by Armando Iannucci for Audible.

Lily was most recently The Globe Theatre to write and perform a feminine response to Dr Faustus for the Winter Season 2018/19 as well as also acting in the main Dr Faustus company from Dec 18 – Feb 19. She participated in  the Channel 4/Sonia Friedman playwrighting scheme 20190 and to 2020 and through that is now delevoping her comedy play Hen. She is also developing a play Lady Macbeth with producer Vicky Graham
