Charlotte is a screenwriter for film and TV. In March 2017, she was selected for the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist and in April 2018 she was nominated for the Breakthrough Talent award at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards.
Her first television commission was a 90-minute film for Series 9 of INSPECTOR GEORGE GENTLY for Company Pictures and the BBC. She has also written episodes of SPADEHEAD for Eleven/Netflix, MEDICI for Big Light Productions/Netflix and THE LAST KINGDOM for Carnival/Netflix. She is developing several original television and film projects, including projects with Sky, Studio Lambert, Matt Charman and Orlando von Einsiedel.
Her feature script WHITE NIGHT was shortlisted for Film London’s Microwave scheme in 2016 and she participated in Nisi Masa’s development programme, the European Short Pitch in 2016. Her short films have screened at festivals including the London Short Film Festival and Aesthetica. Before moving into writing, Charlotte worked as a drama development researcher for film and television. She has worked for Lookout Point, Raw, Blueprint Pictures and Euston Films.
