Crispian Mills is a prolific artist whose interests span music, art, and film. Prior to making films he was best known as the front man for Kula Shaker, whose album ‘K’ was one of the fastest selling British debuts of all time and achieved platinum status worldwide. He has also produced albums and co-written for other artists (including Liam Howlett on The Prodigy’s acclaimed ‘Fat of the land’).
In 2011 he wrote and directed his first feature ‘A Fantastic Fear of Everything’ starring Simon Pegg.
His second film ‘Slaughterhouse Rulez’ stars Asa Butterfield, Finn Cole, Hermione Corfield, Michael Sheen, Simon Pegg, Margot Robbie, and Nick Frost, and was released by Sony in 2018.
He is currently developing film projects including a romcom with the writer Henry Fitzherbert, and is scripting another feature with Simon Pegg.
Crispian is the son of Oscar winning British film director Roy Boulting and the actress Hayley Mills.
