Steve Gilroy is a writer and director based in the North East of England and was associate director at Live Theatre from 2007 to 2018. Steve’s work has attracted critical acclaim and awards including; a Fringe First, The Stage Best Ensemble and Spirit of the Fringe award for his play Motherland. In 2016 he was commissioned to write the first verbatim play about the Oklahoma City bombing; the largest ever domestic terror attack in the USA. His plays are published by Oberon Books.
