Florence is currently under commission from Motive Pictures/BBC to write an original thriller drama pilot. She is also presently writing a feature for Scott Free/Religion of Sports. Her script RAGING was featured on The BritList in 2019.
Alongside her original projects, Florence was in the writer’s room of RAGDOLL for Sid Gentle/AMC/UKTV and the room for WONDALAND for The Lighthouse Film and TV.
In 2019 she wrote, directed and starred in a short film called A FAMILY AFFAIR which played at BFI London Film Festival. Going on to win the Audience Award at Palm Springs International Short Film Festival 2019, Best Comedy at Discover Film Awards 2019 and Audience Award at Inside Out, Ottawa LGBT Film Festival 2019.
Her second play, Eggs, which she wrote and performed in, transferred from the Edinburgh Fringe to the Vaults Festival in February 2016, where it received a host of five star reviews and won a competition as one of four plays to be published by Nick Hern Books.
