KATE PHILLIPS is currently airing on HBO/BBC in Peter Kosminsky’s THE MIRROR & THE LIGHT playing ‘Jane Seymour’. She will next be seen in the leading role of ‘Ioana’ in THE YELLOW TIE with John Malkovich, Ben Schnetzer and Miranda Richardson.
Also in film, she recently played ‘Hester Gatty’ opposite Jack Lowden in the Terence Davies BFI/EMU/BBC Films feature BENEDICTION. Other feature highlights include: as ‘Princess Mary’ in the DOWNTON ABBEY feature film, THE AFTERMATH with Keira Knightley and Alexander Skarsgård, and Lenny Abrahamson’s THE LITTLE STRANGER.
Recent TV work includes: HIJACK opposite Idris Elba for Apple, four seasons of PEAKY BLINDERS as ‘Linda Shelby’, and her hit show MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE, starring as ‘Miss Scarlet’. Kate debuted as ‘Jane Seymour’ in Peter Kosminsky’s WOLF HALL and was a Screen International Star of Tomorrow 2014.
