Ali Kurr is an award winning writer and director based in London. Sparrow is her directorial narrative debut, which was made on a shoestring budget of £600.00 alongside Bafta nominated producer Sorcha Bacon. Kurr’s previous work includes music videos for Loyle Carner, Connie Constance and Poppy Ajudha, which were nominated at the UK Music Video Awards, documentaries for Dazed and Confused and commercials for Puma and Valentino. Currently, she is developing her next two short films, a series on sex education and her first feature.
