Brian Kirk

Director

Brian Kirk is an Irish Film & Television Director whose work has won many awards and nominations internationally.  His forthcoming conspiracy thriller, THE DAY OF THE JACKAL, is based on the Frederick Forsyth novel, re-imagined for television by Ronan Bennett. It stars OSCAR winner Eddie Redmayne, BAFTA winner Lashana Lynch and Ursula Corbero. Brian directed the first 3 episodes and is an Executive Producer. Brian also has THE FISHERWOMAN currently in Post Production. It is a Minnesota-set kidnap movie, starring OSCAR Winner Emma Thompson, Judy Greer and Marc Menchaca and produced by Greg Silverman and Jon Berg. Previous movies include 21 BRIDGES starring OSCAR Nominated Chadwick Boseman, Sienna Miller, Taylor Kitsch, Stephan James and JK Simmons and Produced by Joe & Anthony Russo. Notable previous television credits include GAME OF THRONES, PENNY DREADFUL, BOARDWALK EMPIRE and DEXTER in the US. In the UK he directed GREAT EXPECTATIONS, MY BOY JACK and the pilot of LUTHER. He is represented by Independent Talent in the UK and by Grandview and Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman in the US.
