Ed is a former “Screen International Star of Tomorrow” and Writer’s Guild nominated filmmaker. His debut feature, music drama VS. (BBC Fims), world premiered at the London Film Festival and was released in cinemas nationwide by Altitude. The film was then was bought by Netflix after receiving a host of 4 & 5 star reviews including from top UK Film Critic Peter Bradshaw. Ed was subsequently nominated by the Writers’ Guild for “Best Debut Screenplay” and long listed in the BIFA Debut Director and Writer categories. In television, he directed 3 episodes and Co-Exec Produced Season 1 of hit HBO/BBC show INDUSTRY with GQ recently naming his episode “Sesh” as one of “The 50 greatest British TV episodes of the 21st century”. He’s since gone on to direct the opening 2 episodes of SKY crime thriller THE RISING (with the supernatural crime series premiering as part of the Official Selection at Berlin Film Festival), and most recently 4 episodes of hit HULU show TELL ME LIES (across both Season 1 & 2), as well as the opening 3 episodes of Season 2 of SURFACE for APPLE TV / HELLO SUNSHINE.
