John is an award-winning and double Student BAFTA shortlisted Director, whose work focuses on environmental and humanitarian themes. He is a recent graduate of the National Film & Television School (UK).
Before concentrating on his own work as a Director, John spent 7 years working in creative development across short form content, commercials, documentaries, TV series and feature films for production and advertising agencies around the world.
His award-winning short documentary ‘The Flying Gold of Arabuko’ (2020) produced through the NFTS, was shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Film Awards and screened at the United Nations Headquarters as part of World Wildlife Day 2020, as well as multiple festivals worldwide.
John’s graduation film from the NFTS, ‘Stories of You and I’ (2021) starring and narrated by Academy Award Nominee – Jonthan Pryce, was also Shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Film Awards the following year.
