Marek Losey started his career in the film industry as a runner at the age 16.
His career as a director started in advertising, he has directed numerous advertising campaigns for many of the worlds best known brands.
Marek’s debut feature film, THE HIDE received excellent critical acclaim, achieving nominations at The Evening Standard Film Awards, The British Independent Film Awards and The Writer’s Guild.
Marek’s also been recognised with awards from The Royal Television Society for his work as a director of prime-time television drama. Some recent productions include fantasy, action drama, BEOWULF, STAN LEE’S LUCKY MAN and two one-off tv features for the Emmy- winning show, FREE REIN, for Netflix.
Marek’s most recent work includes the BBC Hulu sci-fi drama series, SILVERPOINT and A KIND OF SPARK for the BBC.
