Matt is an Emmy nominated filmmaker based in London. His interests lie primarily in character led documentaries working with a range of subjects from the world’s first black scuba diver to a death row inmate, also working with high profile talent such as music group TLC and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton. Matt’s films have won awards, screened at over 50 major film festivals and been viewed in the millions.
His first feature film Over The Wall and his Netflix short Little Miss Sumo both screened for policy makers influencing legislation and have also been used across the globe as an education tool. He was nominated for a Documentary Emmy in 2022 for his Hulu feature documentary To Live and Die in Alabama, focussing on a death penalty case in Alabama. His latest short premiered at Tribeca and is currently doing the festival circuit where it has won several audience awards.
Matt’s most recent feature film TLC Forever broadcast on A&E to an audience of several million and is about America’s most successful female music group.
