With many years of experience directing live comedy and theatre, Matt is launching a career in TV comedy direction. He directed Mr Swallow’s Valentine for Sky and has developed the Mr Swallow pilot with Nick Mohammed. His short Pick Your Own won best debut at Discover Film Awards and he has just completed his new short A Very Serious Game, written by comedy duo Trodd en Bratt.

Live comedy includes the Mr Swallow shows Houdini and Dracula, sell out hits in Edinburgh and at Soho theatre; Jayded with Jayde Adams; Nick Helm’s This Means War; Nina Conti In Therapy; The Golden Lizard with Henry Paker and Mike Wozniak and Guilty with Henry Paker; Wembley Previews with Sheeps; Kirsty K and I am Special with Holly Burn, Good Girl by Naomi Sheldon and three shows with comedy duo LetLuce.

He has directed pilot readings for Rough Cut and King Bert.
