Molly Manning Walker
Molly Manning Walker is an award-winning Writer/Director and Cinematographer based in London.
Molly’s debut feature film How To Have Sex premiered at Cannes Film Festival, winning the Un Certain Regard Prize, and went on to screen at Sundance and Toronto.
How To Have Sex was nominated for three BAFTA Awards, including Best British Film and Outstanding Debut. It received 13 BIFA nominations, including 3 wins including Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor. And it was the winner of the European Discovery Award at the European Film Awards. The film was produced by Wild Swim’s Ivana MacKinnon and Emily Leo, alongside Heretic’s Konstantinos Kontovrakis. Film4 and BFI developed the project and financed alongside mk2 Films.
Molly’s first short film Good Thanks, You? was included in the Semaine De La Critique program at Cannes and her second short The Forgotten C was BIFA nominated.
As a DP, Molly has worked across documentary, fiction and advertising and recently shot British Independent feature film Scrapper with director Charlotte Regan, which won the Sundance World Cinema Grand Jury Prize.
