Phil is a leading comedy director and producer.

In TV, Phil has directed over 70 episodes of primetime American network shows, including the pilot episodes of ‘Enlisted’ (Fox) and ‘Uncle Buck’ (ABC).

Phil has also directed two feature films – ‘All About Steve’ (starring Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper) and ‘Chalet Girl’, starring Felicity Jones and Bill Nighy.

Phil began his career in London in the mid-90s on the cult British TV show The Big Breakfast, before directing C4’s sketch show Spoons. He went on to direct commercials (Sony Playstation), music videos (The Bees) and a series of award-winning short films – Hiccup, Dangle, Post and Flipped. 

Phil was born in New Jersey, but moved to the UK when he was six. After getting a First in English at Newcastle University, Phil worked in London before moving to Los Angeles. He now lives in Santa Monica with his wife and three loud kids.
