Tom Kingsley was nominated for a BAFTA for his first feature film, BLACK POND. With his directing partner Will Sharpe (with whom he also directed THE DARKEST UNIVERSE) they were named in Variety’s top ten European directors to watch, and won the Evening Standard Film award for Best Newcomer. Tom has also directed two series’ of acclaimed BBCOne sitcom GHOSTS, won a second BAFTA for his work on Jamie Demitrou’s (now triple BAFTA-winning) Channel 4 sitcom STATH LETS FLATS, the second half of Adam Kay’s medical drama THIS IS GOING TO HURT, and Episode 2 of David Tennant’s return as DOCTOR WHO. Tom has recently finished finished on the feature DEEP COVER for Amazon Prime, starring Orlando Bloom, Nick Mohammed and Bryce Dallas Howard. It is due to debut at SXSW London in 2025.
