Tracey Lopes is a writer and director from East London. Her first short documentary film MOTHERLAND won the Best New Talent: Documentary award at the BFI Future Film Festival 2020.
Following this Tracey wrote and directed THE GIRLS’ ROOM a coming-of-age short film which won Best Screenplay at SOUL Film Festival 2023.
Selected as a Film London Lodestar Writer for 2023, Tracey is passionate about bringing to light untold stories and unique perspectives to the screen. She is currently developing a slate of projects for film and TV.
