Abi is a Primetime Emmy nominated Producer for her work on the multi-award-winning limited series ‘The Honourable Woman’ starring Maggie Gyllenhaal. She has a strong producing and production background, spanning over 20 years and is experienced at working both nationally and internationally, gaining a reputation for successfully steering challenging projects through on time and on budget.
After studying photography, Abi went on to graduate with a BA (Hons) in Film. She spent five years helping run a UK indie specialising in national and international documentaries for strands such as True Stories, World In Action, Modern Times, Everyman, Horizon, Witness, as well as original one-offs and series, work that has influenced her choice of television drama and film projects.
Abi has a passion for working on thought provoking, human stories and immersing herself in different communities and cultures, both at home and abroad. She is always up for a challenge and adventure and loves helping to piece together the right team of creatives and cast for each project. Abi enjoys supporting and collaborating with directors to help them realise their vision and to be true authors of their work. She is happy to produce both TV series and single films. Abi is also interested in political and military stories, as well as action movies, thrillers, football, music and dance!
Between May 2019 – March 2022 Abi worked as in-house producer at new UK drama indie, Chapter One Pictures, helping establish the physical production side of the company and carrying out feasibility and prep on a range of shows for writers such as Jack Thorne, Mark L. Smith, Bisha K. Ali, Louise Doughty…
