Born and raised the North East Phil started out his TV career volunteering as a runner on the Catherine Cookson dramas set in the North East, his first paid job in TV came
in the shape of Peter Kay’s PHOENIX NIGHTS. Since then he has carved out a career that has seen him take up both production and editorial focused roles. During his career to date Phil has delivered hundreds of hours of high-end scripted content including VERA, MIDSOMER MURDERS, HOLLYOAKS, EASTENDERS, HOLBY CITY, DOCTORS and HUSTLE. Most recently, Phil co-produced CRIMINAL RECORD for Apple + before moving on to work with Sky studios on one of their in-house drama commissions.
