Her theatre credits include i will still be whole (when you rip me in half) (Bunker Theatre, 2019), Half Blue (Audible/LAMDA), small hours (Oxford Playhouse/IF Festival), and Rime of the Second Sister (45North). She is an alumnus of the Soho Writers Lab (2018-2019), the Bush Emerging Writers Group (2019-2020), and the Royal Court Writers Group (2021). Her play, scum, was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate and Tony Craze awards in 2020, and was longlisted for the Women’s Playwriting Prize in 2021.
Her latest play, GRACELAND premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 2023.
Ava has recently served as Consulting Producer on the HBO drama, INDUSTRY Season 3, and the upcoming season of a flagship Amazon Prime show.
She has also written an episode for the upcoming Amazon/Imaginarium Productions series, THE GIRLFRIEND.
Ava is working on a pilot commission from Cowboy for a 30-minute comedy-drama series.
She is currently writing THE ASSISTANT, a thriller series for DNA Films/BBC.
