Camilla Blackett is a UK Native and began her career as a writer on the first two seasons of the hit British series SKINS. After relocating to Los Angeles, she joined the writing staff of Aaron Sorkin’s HBO series THE NEWSROOM and later worked on NEW GIRL and FRESH OFF THE BOAT. Currently, Camilla is developing several shows in TV including MAX at HBO Max with Don Cheadle attached to Executive Produce, VINEYARD with Springhill attached to EP, and a limited series at Netflix about The Lincoln Assassination. On the feature side, Camilla is writing and will Executive Produce her original project QUEEN for Universal and star Marsai Martin. She is also developing BARRE for MGM and a project for Netflix. She wrote LITTLE for Universal as well. She was recently featured in Harper’s Bazaar in a conversation with ISSA RAE and Susan Fales-Hill as well. She is also developing an original idea with Clerkenwell.
