Chris Coghill

‘Spike Island’, Chris’s feature film directed by Matt Whitecross, debuted at the London Film Festival in October 2012 and was released April 2013. The screenplay won Best Screenplay at the Dinard Film Festival 2013.

He has written the feature film ‘M60’ for Michael Winterbottom’s Revolution Films and the feature film ‘Weekender’ for Foundation Films.  He’s had numerous Television commissions for Clerkenwell, C4, STV, Left Bank, Red Production, and ITV Studios, amongst others.

He wrote the play ‘Crying in the Chapel’ an inside account of the Strangeways riots performed at the Yard Theatre in 2000 which was revived at the Contact Theatre Manchester in 2010.
