Described as a “a poet of the east end overspill” by The Observer, David Eldridge is widely regarded as one of the prominent playwriting voices of his generation, whose productions have premiered across the UK at venues including The National, The Royal Court, The Royal Exchange and The Donmar.

Television credits include the The Scandalous Lady W for BBC 2,  and Our Hidden Lives, a BBC adaption of the Simon Garfield novel.
