David is Editor of eight feature films and upwards of twenty shorts, including the BAFTA-nominated short LIN, the BAFTA-nominated feature Taking Liberties, and the feature The Great Ecstasy of Robert Carmichael which was selected for Critic’s Week at Cannes. His Editing award wins have been for the shorts LIN and Go Away Please, and the feature The Fold.
Award-winning technical roles include Stereoscopic Supervisor on the Doctor Who feature-length 50th Anniversary Episode, which garnered a special BAFTA and a Guinness World Record, and Senior Visual Effects Artist on the IMAX special BBC Arctic which won a Giant Screen Cinema Association award for Visual Effects.
As a Script Consultant, David has worked with the Screenwriters and Producers of the feature films Ravers and A Million Days to develop and refine their scripts before they were produced.
David’s original TV series Birthright is under option and in development with a UK/Canadian Producer.
As one of the three Writers on the Audio Drama Blood Culture David served in the writer’s room breaking this 5x 60min thriller, and then wrote two 60min episodes. Blood Culture won the Gold Award for Best Drama at the Audio Production Awards, and the Silver Award for Fiction at the British Podcast Awards.
