Production (role): TAKE ME HOMECompany:Project details: Take Me Home is a story of personal transformation and political awakening. How a young mum takes on an establishment that says London does not belong to people like her. That they are too poor to claim the city as their home. Tenacious, brave and harnessing the power of social media, Dani and her friends are out to prove them wrong.
This story is inspired by Velmi's own childhood experiences of homelessness, the stories of many young mums & families living in shelters; and campaign groups like Focus E15 and the 35% campaign who are fighting against the social cleansing of London and the destruction of affordable social housing. -
