Inês is a screenwriter interested in female-led stories with challenging relationships, across different genres and countries, be it a coming of age story set in São Paulo, Brazil (ALICE, TV | HBO) a serial-killer thriller set on Santiago’s pilgrimage path (SANTIAGO, TV | Opto SIC) or a disturbing mother-led thriller set in South-East Asia (MELODY, feature, in casting). Having lived in different countries and speaking various languages, her scripts reflect diversity and shed light on the human experience.
She very much enjoys collaboration and working together with directors (Don Boyd, Sergio Machado and Karim Aïnouz) and has original projects in development (Film & TV) with Hurricane Films, Two & Two Pictures and 313features & Netflix.
Inês also loves working with other writers, having been a script consultant on various international projects and teaching at several prestigious universities/film schools, such as London Film School where she is currently a VL.
