The late, great, multi-talented Jeremy Lloyd O.B.E (born 22 July 1930 died 22 December 2014) most notable works for TV, theatre and publishing are :
ALLO ALLO (1982 to 1992 for BBC) ARE YOU BEING SERVED (ran for BBC 1972 to 1985) and spin off GRACE AND FAVOUR (1992) , ROWAN & MARTINS LAUGH-IN (196-70)
In 1993 he published his autobiography LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY – I SHALL SAY THIS ONLY ONCE and he wrote the poem/lyrics for the popular CAPTAIN BEAKY album and books in 1980.
He was awarded an O.B.E in 2013 New Years honours list for services to British comedy.
