As part of the writing duo Ryden & Rowe, Jon’s original crime thriller BETTER LEFT BURIED is in development with West Road Pictures for the BBC. Ryden & Rowe’s twisty psychological thriller IMPOSTER is with Hartswood Films. And their crime script FOOL’S GOLD landed near the top of the 2021 Brit List and was optioned by Company Pictures.
Jon’s VR experience, BIOLUM, starring Charlotte Rampling and Dominique Tipper, won the SXSW Audience Award and played at festivals around the world.
Complementing his writing, Jon has a wealth of production editorial experience. He served as Executive Producer on THREE LITTLE BIRDS created by Sir Lenny Henry and Ep’ed by Russell T Davies for ITV, and he was the story producer VIEWPOINT created by Ed Whitmore (Manhunt) and Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag) for ITV. He was the script executive on THE LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL directed by Park Chan Wook for BBC1/AMC, BRITANNIA for Sky, as well as on BBC1’s SILENT WITNESS for two seasons.
