Lee Hodgetts is an emerging screenwriter from Merseyside with experience working in development at Neal Street Productions and currently New Pictures. Whilst studying at the University of York, Lee was selected for the Royal Television Society’s prestigious bursary scheme and completed a one-year internship at The Walt Disney Company.
Last year he took part in a writers’ room with Joi Productions developing the story for a detective drama series and this year he was selected for BBC Writers’ Voices scheme as part of the North and Midlands cohort. His fully funded comedy-drama short film ‘Bad Luck Sally’ begins shooting this summer.
His pilot script TWINNING is a fabulously dark and twisted examination of identity, family, and perception.
