Liv Hennessy is an Olivier award-nominated TV and theatre writer from the West Midlands. She is currently developing original TV series with Boffola Pictures, Tiger Aspect, West Road Pictures & Moonage Pictures/BBC. Liv created EVERYONE’S STREET as part of the BBC Writersroom Pilot Scheme 2022/3. Her play, VARDY V ROONEY: THE WAGATHA CHRISTIE TRIAL, was produced by Eleanor Lloyd Productions and enjoyed a West End run at the Ambassador’s Theatre in the Spring of 2023. It has been nominated for the Noël Coward award for best new entertainment or comedy play at the Olivier Awards 2024. Liv’s debut play, COLOSTRUM, was on the shortlist of 7 for the Paines Plough Women’s Prize for Playwriting 2020 and is being produced by Jessie Anand. She is currently under commission for a new play by Samuel French/Concorde Media. Liv was formerly the story producer and script editor of Emmerdale.
