Lloyd is a writer specialising in character-driven comedy.
He was commissioned by Shiny Button to adapt hip-hop memoir ‘Wiggaz With Attitude’. Working with BAFTA-winning actor/comedian Tom Davis and producer Rupert Majendie, CAN WE KICK IT is a warm-hearted comedy about a group of working class kids trying to become rappers in the mid-80s.
His recent pilots A THOUSAND CUTS, NUMBSKULL and SHOOK are comedies about flawed individuals going to increasingly desperate extremes to achieve their dreams.
His screenplay KIDNAP THAT FOOL was enthusiastically received by production companies on both sides of the Atlantic.
Lloyd spent a decade as a mechanical engineer on the Typhoon fighter jet. He has a degree in screenwriting.
He is currently developing his feature directorial debut.
