Lulu Raczka

Lulu Raczka is an award-winning writer.

For television, Lulu has written on shows including RIVIERA (Archery/Sky), MEDICI (Big Light/Sky), and shows for Apple, Disney and Amazon.

She is currently writing her debut feature film. Her adaptation of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE for Audible, starring Harris Dickinson and Marisa Abela, produced by Brock Media, has been announced.

She was Company Director of Barrel Organ, with whom she worked on her first play Nothing. Nothing was awarded The Sunday Times Playwriting Award as well as the National Student Drama Festival Award for Creative Risk. Some People Talk About Violence, also with Barrel Organ, played at the Edinburgh Fringe, New Diorama and Camden People’s Theatre in 2015. In 2016, Lulu’s Clytemnestra formed part of the Gate Theatre’s Iphigenia Quartet and her play Grey Man was produced as part of the Shakespeare in Shoreditch Festival and at Theatre503, London. Her play A Girl in School Uniform (Walks into a Bar) was first produced by West Yorkshire Playhouse in 2017 and at the New Diorama Theatre. Her adaptation of Antigone was produced at the New Diorama in 2020, followed by Gulliver’s Travels at the Unicorn Theatre in 2022, directed by Jaz Woodcock-Stewart. Most recently, her dark comedy Women, Beware the Devil premiered at the Almeida Theatre in 2023. Her plays are published by Bloomsbury.

Lulu currently has projects in development with leading production companies including Element Pictures, DNA Films, Film4, Agile Pictures, Expanded Media, Neal Street Productions, RedRiding, and The Ink Factory.
