Morna Regan is an award-winning writer of TV and plays from Derry City, Northern Ireland. After her time as a Fulbright Scholar studying theatre at the University of Southern California, she worked for many years as an actor before turning to writing. In 2022 her work on HIDDEN ASSETS received an IFTA nomination for Best TV drama script. She currently has a pilot in development with Kudos/BBC and Quay Street Productions and in the past has developed original projects with Moonage Pictures and Company Pictures. Her first feature-length script BACK TO THE SUN was developed with assistance from the Irish Film Board. Morna was selected for the inaugural BBC Drama Room in 2016 and went on to be named in the BBC New Talent hotlist.
