Natasha Narayan is a screenwriter and author, born in India. She emigrated to Britain as a child, where she was educated at a variety of alternative schools including a Steiner school and a commune. She has worked as a journalist for national papers including The Observer, The Guardian and the Daily Mail and spent several years reporting overseas from Albania, Georgia and Sarajevo. She has written five YA novels published by Egmont and Quercus. Her work for television includes co-creating and co-writing six-part drama ITV drama NEXT OF KIN, writing multiple episodes of upcoming Apple TV crime thriller CRIMINAL RECORD and developing original ideas with BBC Studios and a number of indies.
