Niamh O’Connor is a crime journalist and the author of seven crime novels and nonfiction books. She was the True Crime editor of the Sunday World before returning to college to study screenwriting and was awarded a Masters degree with First Class honours from the National Film School in 2016. She went on to study Crime Fiction at the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2018. She was made a Lord David Puttnam scholar in 2021. Niamh was a finalist in the BBC Writersroom (drama) competition in 2017, The Writers Lab (UK & Irl) competition in 2021 and The Writers Lab (Europe) 2022. Her TV crime series have been optioned by O’Sullivan Productions, Treasure Entertainment and Danú Media in recent years.
