Nick Luddington

Selected for the 2021 Next List by Coverfly and TrackingBoard, Nick is a writer and co-producer on the Emmy-winning ARCANE for Netflix and Riot Games, transforming the global franchise into an award-winning TV series. ARCANE won all nine categories it was nominated for at the Annie Awards – including Best TV, Direction, Writing, and Production. Season Two is out in November 2024.

Nick’s other animated projects include Wings of Freedom, a feature fully financed by StudioCanal and currently in production. Picatopia, an animated series from Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning Studio AKA.

He’s also attached to co-create an animated series for AGBO with Brandon Auman (Vox Machina) based on the worldwide game phenomenon MapleStory.

Nick has several live-action features and TV series in development including The Last Bank at Zoic Studios with Loni Peristere directing (The Witcher, House of the Dragon), The Killing Moon at Riverstone Pictures, Starfall at Good Hero, as well as Memo and ADD (based on the IP of Douglas Rushkoff’s graphic novel) at Submarine.

His other projects include a AAA Sony game, as well as reimagining Jekyll & Hyde for Audible, Strange Case, with Derek Kolstad (John Wick) and Vanessa Kirby voicing.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Nick worked in development at Working Title Films. His first feature script won the 2012 Cordelia Award for Best British Screenplay.
