Nicola Quilter is an English-Australian director, producer and screenwriter living in London.
She runs Rocket Room films and has joined the team at StoryFirst, who will co-produce her original TV series Combustione. Nicola works with Lord Michael Dobbs, and is currently writing a political thriller with Show Runner Ian Weird. Recently, she transplanted the HBO show, MERCHANT OF CRIME, from Finland to Boston. She is also working with John & Elizabeth Godber on a TV show Grassroots.
Nicola wrote, directed and produced TREASURE, starring Samantha Bond, for the BBC’s Culture In Quarantine. She has worked as a script consultant and is on the board of Euroscript. In a former life, Nicola was a resident character on HOME & AWAY, has appeared in shows for the BBC in Radio and TV, Channel 7, Channel 9 Australia and Sydney Theatre Company.
