Roanne Bardsley is an award-winning writer from Wales. She is currently writing A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE for Channel 4/The Forge, alongside Katherine Jakeways, and is also serving as Co-Executive producer on the 8-part period drama.
Other upcoming credits include Consultant Writer on series 3 of GANGS OF LONDON, and writing episodes of new BBC drama DOPE GIRLS, and returning to write for series 2 of Apple’s THE BUCCANEERS. Previously, Roanne served as an associate producer and writer on the BBC’s BOILING POINT and Left Bank’s YA drama series EVERYTHING NOW for Netflix. She has also written episodes of series 1 of THE BUCCANEERS, both series of Channel 4’s prison drama SCREW, and supernatural thriller THE RISING for Sky.
Roanne has developed projects with  Netflix, Disney, BBC, Channel 4, Sky and Channel 5, and is currently working with a number of production companies, including New Regency, Left Bank Pictures, STV Urban Myth and more.
